McLean School of Maryland

Three, two, one…

Grade five science ended with a blast. Our final project in astronomy was a self-directed study of a topic of personal interest. Students explored a broad range of topics including creation myths, black holes, satellite communication networks, and of course rocketry. Students presented their findings to the class with a visual aide to add clarity. It proved to be a wonderful avenue for students to let their creativity and ingenuity shine.
