Bharatanatyam

A performance/demonstration of Indian classical dance (Bharatanatyam)was given by renowned artists Nalini Prakash and Kaushika Prakash (sister and niece of Lower School art teacher Nomita Advani).

Funds was raised for Udhavi, a “Center for Special Children” located in South India that serves a population of children with severe physical and mental disabilities. Art Department Chair Nomita Advani and Grade 2 teacher Kerri Sullivan visited Udhavi during the summer of 2005 through the sponsorship of the Peter L. & Friends and the Nancy G. Milstein Funds established for McLean School Faculty Enrichment. Donations will still be accepted.
